So I'm in the middle of the Carentan battle, and I noticed a couple of very interesting buildings. Just south of the line of 100 point VH's, a few hexes to the left of the 88 emplacement, if yo know which "street" I'm referring to, there are some stone buildings with some serious height values. One is around 400, there are some that are 300, and a bunch in the low 100s. Was this intentional on your part, or is this some kind of bug? Anyway, I'm using those heights to their fullest advantage, (great place for .50 cal MGs and FOs)...

It's a quirk of the map editor, kind of related to the same one that thinks there are still parts of a multi-hex building in a hex though the building itself is long gone. If you put a building over and over next to certain kinds of terrain, the building keeps changing but the height accumulates. I don't know if this is ententional on the part of the programmers, nor do I know if it's intentional on the part of the scenario designer, but I'm pretty sure either way it's a function of how the map was put together.

Aww heck! And I always thought WB put those skyscrapers in to represent church steeples or something.

It wasn't intentional this time, but watch out for the next one. This bug comes from placing and replacing multiple or single hex buildings till you get the one you want. It had been fixed in an earlier version but looks like it came back to life. Wild Bill ------------------ In Arduis Fidelis Wild Bill Wilder Coordinator, Scenario Design Matrix Games
