Hi all,

Looks like I need to start selling beer in Norway!

Have you noticed what is the most expensive country (hint: Kristian lives there)?

Leo "Apollo11"

And Norway isn't far behind. Indeed, all of Scandinavia is expensive.

One must wonder if taxes are included. That would explain some of these things.

As I understand it the chart was made with taxes included (i.e. thus the differences)...

" conspiracys only work when 1 person is involded otherwise enevidably someone opens their mouth."

Hmmm.... how is this possible? To "conspire" is to work with at least one other in secret towards some goal...

I guess that conspiracies never work is the real answer - at least in the american government!

He doesn't make me grumpy. I can quite calmly claim that he is a <expletive deleted><expletive deleted> and a <expletive deleted>, not to mention an <expletive deleted> and a <expletive deleted>. Doesn't make me grumpy at all...

Hi all,

quote:

Finally fixed GF's stupid Apple. Think i'll go for Round II with Bootcamp just for giggles.

How did you fix it (and what was the problem)?

Leo "Apollo11"

Used Bootcamp to create a windows XP partition on her new Imac. This time bootcamp did not work as advertised and corrupted the OS-X volume which after two painful bootups went to the White screen of death you see every time you turn one on where it would then freeze. Disk utilities attempted to repair the volume but though it claimed success, it was not...the volume would still not boot up OS-X. In order to save GF's info on the corrupted volume....installed OS-X on the former WinXp partition, connected it to GF's laptop Apple and copied the entire former OS-X volume to that computer's disk. Reformatted the entire Imac....reinstalled OS-X a 2nd time, transferred over pertient files from former OS-X volume.

That sounds eerily familiar...except I didn't have GFs laptop .... so I lugged the paperweight to the Apple store and just had them put in a new harddrive....happend on like day 387 of ownership...but i bought the extended warranty.

My goodness, so the Supreme Council of Antiquities of Egypt has given the French/Israelis leave to search for Jetef're's fourth pyramid. A cocktail of incest, murder, and the like.

They couldn't find it, of course, except on the History Channel. But it's a wicked cool bit of nastiness.

But, except for the History Channel, Redjedef was known as 'a good Pharoah', by the Isrealites. Poor little TV pukes don't even have their Mycerinean lineages straight. Oh well, it's fun for the under 50 IQ weenuses who watch this stuff, and profitable for everybody else. Heigh ho.

Woof! This might be the smoking gun for the ancient aliens.
