This should give you an idea. Keep in mind, I have not tested this alot, I may have done something boneheaded, so keep that in mind.

Thank you for the great counters. A lot crisper looking than the default counters.

Hello everyone! I decided to mess around with my counters more, let me know what you think. It should only take me about another day or so to convert all of the old counters to the new ones.

Gorgeous ! Not to badmouth the original ones, but they look to me as if all info have been messed up and splashed here and there ..

I really do like your second set of counters, looks more and more like classical board game counters.

You do realize that with all the different color counters, you do not need the country flags any more (they are redundant now). As a result, that is one more thing you can eliminate to make thses counter look more and more like real board game counters.

Yep, the best yet S555, now if we could just see some separation between the combat strength and the AP value.  Looks like there is enough room, perhaps a space or two on either side of the hyphen would do it.

How about a smaller, single engine silhouette for the fighter units? Twin engines for TAC, 4 engines for SAC, and for the composite, a trio of reduced size of each, in formation?

I might be wrong, but aren't there only different counter colors for the main powers (Russia, US, Great Britain, France, Germany, and Poland)? Minors use the counters of those countries, i.e., the flags are still necessary, me thinks

The minor powers use one seperate set, the counters have a white theme. The flags are still useful in that case. Some minor powers do use major power counters (Free France, Vichy France), though.

There are only regular air units and strategic air units. I chose a very identifyable aircraft from each of the major powers bomber inventory. True, there could be a better progression of aircraft according to tech level, but I am going to get these counters out first. Doing a progression would take alot of time, maybe later.

The strength/AP text is hard-coded (as far as I know), so I simply cannot add a space. I can change the font to make it larger, so I will experiment with making it a bit larger.

Hehe, that is the way the info is presented by default. At first I just made the counters more attractive. My second set I am messing with the way the info is actually drawn.

These pictures make me get excited as a wargamer nerd. I think I will have to get this game now and use these counters. Super good work

Hey Swatter?  You have any plans to update this mod to 1.60?  It doesn't work properly with the new version.
