Hi all,

I've always liked CC. I hope they're going to redo the Arnhem one. The Normandy campaign has always been one of my favourite WWII campaigns so the 2 together seems ideal. Anyway, I just fired it up this morning and am happy to report I didn't even need to read the manual to get right into it but it looks good so far.

RGR!

BTW, do you have older CC:WaR?

I am looking forward to buying the latest CC installment. Have either of you played it as 2 player PBEM? I have a close friend with interest, but he is 2000 K away.

You can't play it as PBEM as it's real time but you can play via a TCP/IP link.

I just had some cold pizza myself, to go with my coffee.

Thanks sprior. Probably still doable. He is 2 hours behind me, but we have been able to do some real-time games in the past.

Is it Monday yet?  Got a busy Monday I guess.  New game to play with and we've got the 20 week scan as well.

Was Horton the one who did the Bismark and Battle of New Orleans songs ? At least better than the afternoon delight song.

Not his birthday, his wedding anniversary.

He's close though. Birthday on the 3rd and anniversary on the 15th. Purposefully done to help absent-minded Martians not forget important dates. Wife was in Africa then so we delayed the celebration.

Thanks to all. It was an excellent dinner!

For those wine lovers here, we had a bottle of pinot noir from this winery. Outstanding!!
