Tried a forum search but couldn't find terms specific enough to narrow it down properly. Pretty sure it would have been raised before though.

In any case, this interface bug was present on my system in WitP and still present in AE. (Running Windows XP SP3 with an ATI Radeon Sapphire X700 series card.)

To replicate:

Open up eg the Aircraft information menu. Select an aircraft. Then use the scrolling button of your mouse. The previous menu then superimposes over the specific aircraft information screen.

Where this becomes a small annoyance is on screens where the information needs to be scrolled up or down.

Exactly what steps are needed.

I can't seem to work out which screens you are referring to.

Any chance of a screen dump.

Asking for a screen dump was a good idea :) It's made me realise that the screens this happens to must alter - perhaps implying something this idiot in front of my monitor is doing? (Alt-Tab related graphical glitch?)

When I posted, the steps I put in the OP applied. The game has since been closed down and reloaded and this time I went:

Intelligence Screen - Aircraft Replacement pool - Tina - mouse scroll (tried with several planes and all give a screen similar to this with the prior screen floating in the centre of the current screen).

The glitch from what I have seen can happen on any screen you access by clicking on a 'gold' hotlink and was present in WitP as well as remaining in AE. Seems like it's not a surefire thing even for me though. Thought this happened to everyone, but I'm guessing not now and trying to figure out just why it's happening to me :)

Yes, this is caused by the underlying scroll box not being closed before the top screen is drawn.

I have found the odd case where this has happened in other places, so I have fixed them also.

Ah, so just a random glitch. Thanks michaelm. Good luck with bug squishing :)
