I'm playing Turkey in the Napoleon's Options game. I noticed on the first turn I played that Russia was going out of order: He was moving last, and France was moving in some other position.

The players say they have seen this kind of thing in other games, and they are basically ignoring it. But, as Turkey, I kind of have a vested interest in making sure it works correctly.

Marshall, have you seen a problem before where, when France changes movement order, Russia goes last?

Has anybody else seen this? Is there a fix?

Wow. 19 people viewed this, but nobody replied. Must not be very common.

Yes I believe that this is a bug only seen in PBEM games.

I have had trouble duplicating it.  I think it can be done if France goes last in one turn and then first in the next, although that may not be the case.

Marshall -- is it possible for you to reset the turn order from a save game?  If so I'll get the game host to send you one.

It has happened the last three turns in the Napoleon's Options game I'm in. But, I don't know if there is a saved game of it. Del, are you in that game?

Yes, he is. It happens every turn as far as I am aware, it was like a permanent switch or something, it happened VERY EARLY on in the game.

Yes, I'm in that game but I'm no longer the game host (handed that on to Brian C).  It's the game host's files that you'd need to send to Marshall for the fix.

I'll send him an email tonight. To dupe is easy: Get to the land movement phase. Russia goes last.

I'm not sure if this ever made it to Mantis but I'm pretty sure saved games have been uploaded before in previuos threads about this same game.
