Not me personally, despite being in the forces I'm a coward when there's a chance of me getting hurt It was a reference to my (all too) frequent trips to Afghanistan this month.

Is it business or pleasure that takes you to Egypt?

Same here. Getting the premium. Getting a Macbook for my son for school. 160 gb HD. How much do you recommend I partition for Windows?

50 gb?

Don't. Just get VMware Fusion or Parallels and run Windows in a virtual machine. Works great!

Note as I said before, only Ultimate and Business are licensed for such. Vista Ultimate is not much more than premium.

Parallels Desktop 4.0 will be on the computer. Thanks for the help.

pleasure my buddy's family is from there his dad moved back there to run the familys manufacturing and other interests. and evidentlty he has a house on the med in alexandira and a yacht. so spending a week on the med seemed like a cool thing to do. plus i have never been to africa.

Well, it depends on your definition of "play". I bought it on 27 July but haven't actually played a turn. I ran one historical turn just to see the changes in industry on 8 Dec. Other than that, I've been gathering data and trying to figure out the Japanese. I'm going to begin a Japanese first turn this weekend. +

Well, I don't seem to have picked up the Oink-Oink Flu after all(yet), although the first couple of members of our staff have now been diagnosed. It's one of life's great ironies that hospitals, where you go to get well, are also some of the easiest places to get sick.

The vaccine will be out in November, about a month and a half after the epidemic is expected to have run its course.

Bra-vo...

We are expecting the oink-oink to peak here, in the States, around late September to early October.  Give it a few weeks to simmer after all the kids go back to school and then it will be all over the place.

Anyhoo, beddie-bye time for me... I'm doing the work of two underpaid file clerks at the moment, whilst breaking in a new minion, so I need my rest...

Yeah, drinking coffee for two, and eating two donughts at a time can be exhausting.

I've just had a worrying moment, a pair of IJN battleships just blundered into one of my carrier TFs.  Luckily the Japs withdrew, probably low on ammo after they sunk some of my other ships a couple of hours before. *phew*

Well, Legoland was fun. Lots of preteens and their pain in butt parents who don't seem too bothered about passing those things called "manners" on to said preteens. Heels bashed with push chairs (strollers) without so much as a "sorry". But our son had a good time even if Mrs P and I are knackered after a 270 mile round trip. Hey Ho.

We even bought some Lego.

If they were to insist on a proper name for those it would be 'wheeled poop toters'.

Hello. Something that came down the pike from a friend.

Don't know how many of you are old enough to remember this, or how many weren't stoned enough to recall, but somebody finally figured out the lyrics to Joe Cocker's "help From My friends" song. Enjoy.

Ciao. John

Paul McCartney might sue you for saying it was Cocker's song.
