OK maybe I'm a dummy but how do I find out what my IP address is so I can play a Online Game

Depends on your operating system

Windows 95, 98, ME:

Click Start, Run, type winipcfg

Windows NT, 2000, XP:

Start, Run type cmd

from command prompt, type ipconfig
press enter

I think you can also double click on the 'online' icon in the bottom right status bar. It should list your IP address.

Thanks for all the help " Easy8" guidance worked and now I am enlightened. On another note I has playing some PBEM game about 18 months ago with someone named AmmoSgt I got crushed several times but I did manage a draw and I'm looking for more lessons does anyone know AmmoSgt?:)

That's what I do for a living (IT Analyst:) )

AmmoSgt's been AWOL for a while, but you can probably send her an e-mail or a private message.

If you click on the Search button at the top of the screen, you'll find an option to Search by User Name. Find a post by AmmoSgt, open her profile and you should see the links.
