Hi all,

Last February... Taylor broke our Eduardo'sleg... he was out for about 1 full year... we sorely missed him...

Back from cycling. After 135km, I have lost 3,5kg. Loosing weight this fast would be nice

BTW, went to see my eye doctor today, and everything was fine. Optic nerve, pressure, field of view, all fine. Means I can wait two years for my next check-up, instead of one.

Remains to be seen if I can remember to call in February of 2011 to make an appointment...

That just means you didn't drink enough fluids during your ride.

I have drunk a little more than 4 litres today.
But of course, one mustn't forget the up to 1.5 kg of Glycogen that I've burned for sure. As each gramm of Glycogen bonds up to 3 gramm of water, the loss of weight is already explained. But I'm pretty sure that some fat has vanished, too

Quite funny: I felt worse than a few days before but still was faster uphill...

All those mountain rides are great, Torsten, but they won't prepare you for IMFla.  It is as flat as a pancake.   If you have a trainer that you can mount your bike into to provide resistance while you ride it indoors, it will also be great preparation for Fla.  Just put it in gear and keep cranking the pedals and a constant tempo.

nah, never!
I'll avoid that as long and often as possible. I doubt I can ever sit 5 hours a day on my bike in my living room. That's just too boring!
I've got a Mountainbike for snowy weather and warm clothes if no ice on the streets in winter. I'm going to ride outside as often as possible.

I'll give you that one, but Van Helsing was made by Stephen Sommers, the guy behind the Mummy movies, and he doesn't do serious films. Interview with the Vampire, Twilight and True Blood are all EVER so serious...

"Serious"? Movies about mythological creatures are "serious"?

Well, movies about vampires, if Kate Beckinsale is involved, are always watchable imo

They could have put 10 Kate Beckinsales in that film and it would still have defied the laws of man and nature by both sucking and blowing at the same time...

Yeah, tossing a tomato into a cesspool doesn't make it not a cesspool.

Hmmm . . . . would tossing Kate Beckinsale in a cesspool make it not a cesspool? No, but would it make it a better cesspool? Absolutely.
