Transferring Aircraft in RAF Campaign.

OK.. I got my Smithwicks.. been scramblin Cains and Spits for a few days now beating up on the Luftwaffe. Got a bloody nose, 3 squads badly mauled and 5 others badly bruised. I need to move some out up north to rebuild and need to transfer some in to hold on. I am looking at dozens of Airfields but when I go to transfer birds from 13 Group only a handfull of fields from 11 Group show up to move them to.

So why cant I ship em to fields like Ford? That field is right in 109 Alley along with a few others nearby. Why dont they show up and if I cant transfer my birds to an airfield why the heck are they on my map listed as airfields? Why are they not listed as assets like Factories if I can not use them?

OH... and man what a ride flyin in the missions is...

I drink some Period Ales and Beers, run some "Inspirational" tunes in the background and man.. what a ride !! Been filming like Demile too

People sayin Fraps is the way to go.. I dont know doodle about making video... can an ole mountain goat like me figure it out and turn out some cool flicks with that without having to give up my day job?

Later Guys, Have Great Holiday Weekend !!

been a while since I been on the moving stuff around side, but off hand, Ford is not a FC airfield, so you may only be allowed to transfer FC units to FC fields ???

Sorry, I just do not have the knowledge on the Campaign to answer your question.

You might want to check out the Q&A forum here:

http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=48

If you can not find answers then post over at A2A so that Heinkill  or Stckman or another of our Campaigners can try and answer.

OK. Thanks Guys. I will check that out.

Oh set a new alt record I think... 117k over Tangamere. LMAO... I looked at the mission icon on the map and had +117 as the alt... I had to jump into the birds to intercept a large group of He111. When I did... controls had little effect. Was up there with a squadron of Me109's as well.. dove down a bit and checked the alt... 99000

Must be a glitch because I am pretty sure somewhere between 25k - 35k is where Spits top out.

Later,
KayBay

that is a odd one, never seen that one before, I don't think I would dive from that Alt, you may never pulled back up, air is too thin to give you any lift (of course, you shouldn't be that high either :)
