Start after surprise-attack 0n 8 dec 41.
I have a little bit experience from WitP, but have forgotten a lot.
Start with an inventory of production (Excel)
Not many Oil-wells! 224 is very little! The rules are changed however. So a little math is needed.

Fuel is only needed for ships and for HI-prod.

HI:
There are 6950 HI-centers. 1 HI-points consumes 2 fuel.
So 13900 fuel is needed for max HI-prod. (today)

Ships:
From the all ships view made a list of ship-types and number per type.
From the ship-views extracted cruise-speed, endurance and fuel.
Per shiptype fuel/endurance gives fuel/hex.
This result multiplied by the cruise-speed in hexes and the number per ship-type gives the total fuel amount needed per
day.
The endresult is ~15000 fuel per day (for the whole fleet at cruise speed)

So today we need total ~29000 fuel.
According the intelligence report we have in stock 4455247 fuel. So enough for 153 days.
That is not long!!!
Questions: Do we need that much HI ?
How many% of the fleet is realy on the move?
But also: How much do we loose each day in transport?
Of course we are producing in that period. 224*153*10*0,9= 308348 So ~10 days more.
Conclusion: We need more fuel >>oil >>oil-wells.

At the moment we are producing 224*10*0,9=2016 fuel/day. 29000/2016= 14,4.
So instead of 224 oil-wels we should have 224*14,4= 3225 oil-wells
That is again a lot; but the same same questions like before. Every assumption is quite max.
Nevertheless it is clear to me. If we want to stay in business we have to conquer oil-basis.

The whole map has ~5800 oil-wells. USA+Canada some 2600. Leaves 3200.
So if we conquer the rest of the map the problem is solved. Be carefull though. This is all theory!!!

I went to the next day without changing anything.
I mentioned a loss of 24 Betty's in one unescorted attack somewhere near Singapore. Have to check that!!

Next time I will check Resources and supplies.

I am not asleep. Spending every day 5-8 hours on WitPEA.
Lots of things are NOT working the way I expect them to work.
Will restart untill I am satisfied.
