I'm playing the Guadalcanal campaign, and decide to split the amphid task force at Lunga to send home the ships that have completed unloading. But when I try find the new TF, it has disappeared, and the port is mysteriously showing Japanese ships there. Then during the execution of the turn a Japanese TF comes steaming out of Lunga, containing all the transports I'd just split off.
Anyone ever seen anything like this before? I've attached the pre-execution autosave, so you can happily watch the American carriers sink the American transports.

1. Why not give the TF number?

2. This is a known issue when the TF is at an enemy base and you transfer ships out of a TF.

Thanks for the swift reply. If it's a known issue then I'll try avoid doing that sort of split in future.

Only about two hours of game time wasted.

Is there a list of such known issues?
