I am wondering if he moved some of his forces north and away from the coast to avoid destruction. If not, he has yet another strong stack of air that I will have to deal with.

He also made smaller air attacks at Hailar, Shikuku, and against my ground units stranded at Petropavlovsk. No major damage at any of these points.

Here is the tally of Japanese aircraft losses for the turn:

China was very quiet this turn so no map needed.

On Luzon I kicked him out of Lucena and before long I will be knocking on Manila from the south.

Over in the Solomans, the Australian and New Zealand cruiser force tried to engage my Tulagi landing force but I escaped after unloading troops and supplies. They then headed for my Shortlands landing force, but in reality both forces are bait. I have a force of cruisers NE of Shortlands that should engage them next turn.

I had planned on attacking Alor Star this turn with my massive stack that finally arrived from Singora. Unfortuneately, I just remembered that I forgot to order the units to attack before hittingthe end turn button. Oh well, they aren't going anywhere and I will get them next turn.

Here is my stack at Alor:

Other developments:
I finished clearing the mines in Hong Kong and I am routing a convoy to pick up the troops there. I haven't decided yet whether to send them to the Philippines or to Okha to finish that stalemate up quickly.

Here is the list of ships sunk during the turn:

You are still producing Ki-36 Idas?

Yes I am until I use up all the engines.

Hails for the developers for making worthy production of obsolete planes!

BTW. I still wonder why is he keeping his fleet in ports (well, it's actually good for you). Few well placed minefields could really ruin your day.

Hi Seydlitz

Very interesting AAR, I certainly like all the detail you put in.  However I find it hard to find a date sometimes.  Can I suggest that you keep it at the top of your combat reports or, when you split it into portions, the top of each part.

Thanks
