I thought we'd win but I didn't expect you to take such a beating. Not sure what that defender was trying to achieve when he gave away that penalty... Capello is a good manager, better than any of the English ones at the moment, but the he can't change the fact that the players are not good enough to win the World Cup, no matter how much hype there is. I'd love to see them do it but I don't think they will.

I also have a feeling Stuart Pearce will one day be the England manager, he's done well with the U21 side and in a few years those players will be the ones in the main team and he'll have learnt from Capello in the mean time.

It is quite possible for England to be WorldCup winner... Capello was always first in any compettion he was in... he made your playres behave totally different than they used to... they now play the English football Italian way...

For the last 50 years it was always rotatory one european and one south american nation. Whenever the championship was in Europa, a european team won, whenever not, Argentina or Brazil.
Consequently it'll be Brazil (or Argentina) this time
