Hi all,

Just intrigued now the beast is finally out....which scenario's are people playing? I generally prefer BtR due to the scope and variety of planes, industries and tactics available. For a personal touch though I like playing as the Brits in BoB now and then.

My take would be that more people would play BoB since it's easier and smaller to get to grips with.......

Post away...........

Steven

Tryin' BOB because it's new for me. At this moment I don't have enough time to start a BTR 1943 campaign.

I think playing a one week or 1 day game of BoB is the best way to start for newbies. Gives you a good 'playing board' to see how things work. You can also save the game, set tactics/raids, run, take notes, re-load, tweak, rinse and repeat. A great way to learn.

BoB, 1 month campaign in real time. I mean really REAL TIME, I play one turn per day... and no, not because I am obsessed with realism, it is only about commitments. (you know its like a horse and carriage )

I'm playing BTR 43 as Allies against the AI and against Swift.  I plan to play a BoB campaign at some point, it's usually something to pass a few days

I played tons of hours BTR some years ago. Before WITP, Ageod's AACW, TOAW3 and before my daughter was born. I'm afraid of I'm too old to start a grand campaign but I'll try it.

BTR 43 Campaign - all the way!

I figure with 700+ turns I will have time to re-earn my wings along the way . . .

Just got this game, never played the originals... Started last night with tutorial / suicide Lufwaffe bomb run in BoB. I also played the RAF side, just to watch what goes on. Both ways I liked the snide remarks I got to read upon losing badly. So I'm tinkering, figuring things out, reading the manual, but my intention is to work my way up to BoB campaign first. Tomorrow I may change my mind.

My biggest problem is I'm also playing WitP-AE, and that's a huge beast to feed.

Avalanche 43' (2 months) as the allies.

Three turns in and things are going well but I have no idea how to maximize my score yet or how my short term decisions will be negatively affecting me in about a month

Want to start a 1 weeker in PBEM after I learn some basics.
