Glad to see this game back in action I loved playing it years ago and will be buying it soon. Quick question:

In the old BTR the allies could actually get terror points by bombing non-axis targets. Has this been fixed, or do we just avoid targeting them as we did in the old days?

Hello to Werner if you're still playing this game!

Thanks to those that made it happen.

It's been a long time since I played the old BTR (so I might be totally wrong!) but if I remember correctly the allied player could actually rack up terror points for ANY city he bombed - including non-axis countries: France, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, etc.

I would think he shouldn't be able to rack up terror points for scaring the people on his side

Niejym and Arnam were seen by the game to be German, so could be scored with, but they are the border that the game used for where Germany starts, anything to the other side of that line did not score terror points

but oddly, Greece could be hit for terror points, only never really had much to hit it with, to do so

in the old days, I used to burn down Paris, because I liked the way the game made the fires, never got much for it, other then damage to the RR

Hey Werner, good to see you're still playing this game.  Hope you are doing well.

Guess I was wrong about getting terror points for burning down French cities in the old BTR.  No idea where I was getting that from, but I seemed to remember our old house rules even prohibiting the bombing of non-axis population centers.  Oh well, must be getting old(er).

I didn't know you could get terror points from Greek cities.  Can you still?  Is this something that will be looked at being fixed someday?
