I think the pick up troops function is broken. Example I create an amphibious or fast transport TF at pearl and select pick up unit, I do not get the option to pick up any units from any of the pacific islands such as Wake or Midway. If I want to get the 1st marine def bn from wake I cannot select it, if I want to get the 6th marine defense bn from Midway I cannot select it. But I can select the 2nd marine def bn from San Diego. All units are the same command and op mode(combat). I have tried this from new and saved games with the same result. It seems that you can only pick up troops from specific locations.
