I can't see the victory hexes on the large map view when buying my forces. I see they are highlighted green on the small map in the corner but I can't see who controls them or if they are nuetral. Not getting a clear view of the objectives and deployment line makes me pass up some good opportunities to use special forces or air borne troops. The briefings in the campains give some useful clues as far as what supporting troops will be there but I've ended up with way more arty than I needed a few times. Maybe all this lack of info would be normal for a commander moving into a new situation. Is saving and advancing to the deployment for a peek at the situation then going back to repair and buy considered cheating? Scott

You cant see the victory hexes but the information on them is their. You move your curser over them and the information of what type they are and who holds them will come up. Strange or what, I dont now why they would not just show the flags becouse by moving your curser over the invisible flag you can find out everything about them anyway

Sounds like a dumb question but are objectives turned off in the preferences menu?...Just wondering. Or can you see them everywhere but in this situation?..WB ------------------ In Arduis Fidelis Wild Bill Wilder Coordinator, Scenario Design Matrix Games

I get the same thing. In generated campaigns, I can usually tell who controls them simply by their placement, and type of battle. If it's one of sneaky Bill's campaigns, I'll jump ahead to check out who controls them. I want to know whether I need to plan a careful advance against enemy territory, or a mad dash to capture neutral terrain. I didn't know you could place a cursor over an invisible objective and get information on it.

I have noticed this same strange behaviour and in my preferences the objectives are turned ON. Victory hexes are visible everywhere else. It is sometimes hard to tell who owns those hexes without the map's help and it is frustrating to search for those invisible hexes to get the info. Belaja smert
