As my opponent and I struggle on in to June-42. I realise that even with the days of looking at the game Manual, while waiting for the next move to arrive,and not to mention the time spent planing and making moves, I still don't know how this game works. Here are a few of the questions that have me baffled retailing to command and control.

1. I have saved a good deal of The III Indian corps but not the HQ ( lost in Singapore ) at first it was listed as due in 30 days, but when that time arrived I received no HQ. Now the HQ is listed as not in play. Will it show up somewhere or must I use all my political points (40000+) to put the troops under new command? Or should I just let them carry on without HQ?

2. What is effect of command on individual Ships should one take the time to change command as they move around the theatre. What practical effect does it have?
