was doing decent

was trying to board a enemy ship, made it to the cargo hold, but had started to lose some crew, so decided to just plunder and blow the ship

it said, i got away

then the game went back to the combat screen, and just froze

had to control/alt/del to end the game

for what it is worth

I had the same thing happen once. I'm at admiral level now. It was also during the boarding sequence. It froze hard, I had to do a reboot of the system. I'm using Vista 64, 8 GB Ram. ATI Radeon 4750, 2GB graphics memory, Q6600 quad core.

Anyway it only did it once, after playing for over 3 hours.

Love the game.

Same as Hard Sarge and Sabre1, pretty much. Boarding sequence. I actually lost a battle and got the message telling me so, and another message popped up asking if I wanted to try and capture the ship, so I figured why not. I took the ship over and the game froze when I was done. Ctl+Alt+Del.

No save from there though.

Unfortunately this sounds like a difficult crash to duplicate, so it will be a tricky bug to find. Niels is aware of it, but without a way to repeat the crash, it may take a while to fix.
