That hasn't been my experience NK. Usually, when I used to buy from Gamestop (been a long time now), I would get a "shipping your order" notice the day they put up the "Ships within 24 Hours" thing. I used to splurge a bit on higher shipping, back in the day, and it would get to me within 2 days of that (sometimes next day, depending on location of warehouse). Typically, they reach the stores next day - but it used to be, with EB, you didn't get very many new games unless it was Tuesday or Thursday. Could have changed, and that was back before Gamestop bought EBgames. Anyway, I still think what Gamestop did is low class. Retailers complain about not getting "equal" opportunity to sell their boxes before or concurrently with Digital Distribution. Then they pull this sort of stunt - where they clearly are offering the product before the people who published it. Then retailers wonder why developers move more and more towards solutions like Steam, Gamersgate, and Impulse. Well, that's my soapbox. SoM
