That Grippen sure looks like a two-engine F-16.

My thoughts, exactly! But, it looks like it's actually a two intake, one engine F-16.

On second look, you are right. I really didn't notice the similarity until he showed the front view. Side view is less like an F-16.

First, welcome to THE THREAD!!!, Phanatik.

Second, there is no such thing as "off topic" in THE THREAD!!!

Third, I have not played it personally, but several here have and talked favorably about it.  At least one or two THREAD regulars still play it.

I helped test and really like it but there are HUGE differences. If WITP/AE is living in the big city then WPO is like living in the middle of the country. Still lots to do but at a slower pace and with more time to contemplate. BTW there is no Japanese production in WPO either.

And like Mike said, there is no topic in here, so you can never be off-topic. Just don't mention the nuns.

BTW, have any of you found yourself not getting new robes for you, even when you could? I can't learn to live with her in anything other than her little black ensemble...

Welcome to the Thread. I've played WPO and liked it a lot. The pace is very different and since it doesn't have that many deep ocean intercepts ports can turn into abattoirs. I confess I've not loaded up a turn for the last month but I still think the game is enjoyable and pretty unique in its treatment of the time period. Of course I could say the Same about WitP and AE

Hope this answers your question,

-John
