To cut a long story short I have reloaded game have got my last files from opponent,the combat replay works fine however after choosing scenario save after you put in password game reverts to choices screen,is there any way to recover our game?Many thanks in anticipation

It doesnt matter what machine you open the save game file on. I play on at least 3 different ones ans it always opens with the same password. is your caps lock on, the password is case-sensitive. also check your num lock.

Also check to make sure it is asking for "Player 1" password or "Player 2" password, as appropriate. Perhaps in getting things back up you are trying to load the last turn you did an "end turn" on instead of the one sent back by your opponent. Or he might have sent the wrong one - seems to happen to me about once a month or so.
