It's an odd thing when you're in pain and the world looks like it's just carrying on as though no-one notices gives a crap. The truth is we do care and we're all rooting for you and Mrs Gladiatt. So hang in there and the next time a happy family walks past you and you thin, "does no-one give a crap?" remember we do. I've been where you are and it sucks.

Hello Guys, and good luck to those having some speed-bumps in life.

Edit: I've always thought, and had it proved to me that life has a cycle, and in the long-run good and bad even out.

Hi all,

quote:

ORIGINAL: Terminus

My uncle just passed away.

He'd been sick for a long time with a really nasty bone cancer, but it had finally gone into remission, although the treatments had basically killed off his immune system.

Yesterday morning, he went out to get his mail, and keeled over with heart failure. Dead on the spot. I suppose it beats wasting away in a hospital bed.

R.I.P.

Sorry to hear that Kristian... my condolences...

Hi all,

Guys, fight against cancer is also fought here...
Miss Gladiatt will have to enter hospital tomorrow at 4PM (and she really don't like to go); for a surgery Monday morning.
Although i try to pretend to her that all is going to be OK, i can't avoid some anxiety. Claire told me of her fear of dying....

Best wishes for you and your wife Eric - fingers crossed!

Doing laundry, including 11 million socks, on a rainy Monday...

Doesn't compare to Eric's Monday, but still...

That is a lot of socks. Maybe you should do your laundry more often

I found out some great news last night, next shift the engine 'team' is me and a cpl for 5 days After the ridiculous shift I've just had this could present a problem

T, this line make me laugh because I specifically didn't bring a single sock with me for the week on our trip. Flip flops and bare feet are the uniform of the week.
