hello all
with the holiday sale upcoming, i am considering another matrix purchase. i have been eyeing forge of freedom, than i saw this game today. can somebody with experience in both games give me a comparison between the two? they are from the same developer-wcs. obviously the time frame and theaters are different, but they do seem very such similar.

are battles, if you choose to fight them, played out the same? i read in a review about the older version of cog that you could not save during the battle. has that been corrected?

and if i order the download with the physical shipment, that will come with the printed manuel?
thanks in advance

I had FoF as well as CoG and liked CoG better. I think the EE version of CoG superior to both.
I have been very happy with this game and the improvements from the updates after my purchase.

Is the game going to be supported in the future?

Both (FoF and GoG.EE) have printed manuals (300+ pages).

I prefer FoF (even If Iam from germany and therefore the CW isnt my cup of tea) but the detailed battles in GoG:EE are boring compared to FoF ;p.
And it is annoying in GoC:EE to get DOWed all the time from every silly banana country if you are the leading country in europe.

Well, not into the time of the Morlocks, but we will support them into the foreseeable future. A patch for COG:EE is currently in the works, and we still plan at least one more for FOF, though not until sometime next year.

Ditto. This is a very good game.
