Status: offline 		ok...i'm new but i like SPWAW...but i find that the enemy armor are always on the advantage...like if i fired 5 successful hits on a Stuart,4 would be deflected or absorbed...plus its not easy to route enemy armors compared to yours...another thing is that the shells would hit "front hull even if i shot the enemy from the side...enemy fire always cause more damage even if they're of smaller calibre and are not affected by range...

I dunno how to overcome this disadvantages and kindly seek your advice...:)

Status: offline 		sturm: quite a few things are needed before an answer can be given to your question.

1. What preference settings are you using ?

2. What countries are fighting ? What weapons are you using ?

3. Period of combat (ie year) ?

4. Range your firing at ?

5. Assuming you are using SPwaw, what version ?

6. Does unit firing have Armor Piercing Ammo ?

I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but all of these are variables and will give you different results.

Now on a happier note, "WELCOME ABOARD" the forum, you will find that quite a few people on this forum ready and willing to help you and make your gaming experience more pleasent.

okay...i'm using V6. something...didnt checked properly

I am playing the year 1941 october using the german side in the desert...preference tanks...Pz T-34, Pz IIIe and Pz IIIh and j...shot a stuart at 2 hexes at least on average of 4 shots per tank to get a kill...thats after reducing their tank armor by 10%...even my tiger find it hard to kill little Stuarts...to my knowledge, Stuarts would be blown to bits if being shot by the 88, but i guess my 88 is a "cheap" version :eek: (3 shots and 1 more to kill)

this only happen at certain times...i also note that enemy tanks are easier to destroy when their morale has benn broken...1 shot 1 kill...even a PzIIIe is able to kill Stuarts...even PzII's at frontal armor

Status: offline 		I see part of your problem you have ver 6.0 we are now up to ver 7.1 and various OOB changes have been made...go to http://www.fprado.com/armorsite/spwaw_downloads.htm and follow the download procedures and steps, don't forget the patches. Some of the other answers you have handled yourself when you commented on crew experience and rally. I leave you with that for now. HTH
