It looks like football is broken today.  No-one is complaining that they've been cheated by FIFA

It was getting silly really. Henry cheated in the build up to the goal, but that's sport sometimes (Maradonna comes to mind...). Ireland's constant complaining lost them any sympathy they did have, now Les Bleus are complaining that they aren't seeded for the World Cup draw.

It's like a soap opera

i don't know why (although some cynical mind could answer me that is because of the foolish pride of the people of this country ), but it seem that Les Bleus and all the supporters believe that this team is great and good and worthy and so on; and that mean that everyone is jealous of their mighty power (bad sentence, but i have nothing better in english right now)...why can't people admit when a national team is bad ? Or at least not as good as they pretend ?

well, to be absolutely honest, i don't know what England think of it's national team, and i don't know if the England Team is good in Soccer .
As i told in my first post, i have in fact absolutely NO interest in Sport on TV; oh well, i have absolutely NO interest in sport at all

Even though I do like sports a fair bit, I get very tired with aspects of it over here. I just try to ignore the prima donnas, the overpaid idiots, and do my best to focus on the competitive aspects I enjoy best as I can. Of course it is hard to ignore the silly stuff like the current obsession with Tiger Woods and his girlfriends and similar tripe. But that is what off buttons and mute buttons are for.

And has anyone noticed how complicated the MLS transfer syatem seems to be?

The only complication is figuring out how much you need to pay to get what you want.

I've ended up at Seattle on a game, they're terrible and the transfer system confuses and infuriates me Waivers, Superdraft, International players, Developmental, Generation Adidas, Designated Players, Senior Roster. It's madness I tell you...

The MLS seems to be a make it up as you go along kind of league. They're also stuck between developing/protecting their own decent players and improving the quality vs. selling them to make ends meet . . . . come to think of it, I guess they're all grown up and just like other leagues, just not as talented. As usual I have no point.

I've watched the Premier League for about 15 years and still don't know how transfer fees are calculated (if a word denoting 'intelligent system' can be used to describe that process).

BTW, hope Lincoln pulls its head out. Where do you go if you get relegated from League 2?
