Status: offline 		Now look at the color of the 4th Panzer Group (the dark pink in the center), in my opinion this is one of the most beautiful unit colors of the game... I think all the colors are beautiful, but this is one of the best.

Status: offline 		Ester is our lady tester, she got the job of picking the color of the drapes (shes Italian)...lol...Plus shes one hell of a player...I will add theres a hotkey to turn off the colors, not sure why you would, as keeping your armys and corps organised is so importaint in the game...

Status: offline 		Thank you for precision, her color tastes was begining to raise questions in my mind.

Rather than an option to turn off color, what about an option to choose the color of the unit (might already be the case) otherwise I might disband the 4th panzer by reflex.

Status: offline 		I really pressed to get pink out, which it was, its lavander now. What were really looking for is to have contrast between armys as they can move with the years, and be able to to see the units clearly on level 4. At first I didn't like the pastel colors, however if it allows me to see the battlefield and make decisions quicker, I'm fine with it...I make decisions on level 4, and move/attack on level 2.

Status: offline 		I like the collor pallet presently, as noted above it offers the contrast thats neaded to do its job, make managing units and formations withen armys easer.

Status: offline 		How are the colours chosen? I mean, they are necessary for organizing your units, but some may like them and some may not. In Advanced Tactics you can easily change the colours by clicking on a HQ unit, a popup menu appears and from there you can define the colour you want. You can even add more colours than the predefined ones.
Personally I like the colours you have chosen right now.

Status: offline 		This nice shade of pink will remain at its place, I won't change it anymore If you think in 41 campaign it should go together with purple (18th army) and "orchid" (16th army), you'll find it even more beautiful

I'm glad you like the colors I chose , because unfortunately in WitE there's not freedom to choose colors

Status: offline 		It's the "Baltic rail zone". Rail conversion (rail lines are the black lines) within this zone is a little faster than in other places.

Status: offline 		The red lines are in the process of change to yellow. I am our own main critic, hate and love to say it. Ask Ester she will tell you...As far as colors, I press the issue to see the unit types at level 4, and have contrast between armys/fronts. I'm 51 now and my eyes arn't what they used to be...Believe me this game becomes intense, the colors after you get used to them won't matter much...

Put an option to change the color or I don't buy this game!

Estheatics is paramount to give a feeling and playing thinking about those lines every time I see the pink panzer army will make me think they are all painted in pink with the crew wearing pink robes. I will do nightmares.

Well enough of that.

My experience with AT is that I tend to choose brighter colours for the HQ's and units I use the most. Bright red and yellow are much easier to the eye then say green or dark green.

Status: offline 		I think colors make a beautiful game a lot more beautiful. I agree with Jon, after you play for a long time colors won't be a problem.
In my opinion you can do only one thing: think pink!

Status: offline 		The colours are good and easy on the eye, some of Gary's other recent games have been dark, with little contrast. I like the lighter WitE Map and the basic unit colours are : German grey, SS black and Russian brown, which are standard. The colour inserts look 'right', nice colour mix and good contrast. We will be looking at this scene for hours and hours, in the near future, and I vote for easy on the eyes.

Status: offline 		I am so looking forward to this game. I have been playing war games (board) for about 30+ years and PC war games for about 20. I fell in love with WIR way back when and also SP.

The only beef I have with the counters is that the font is very hard to read (from the screen shots) will or can it be bold or increased just a bit?

8=8 is harder to read then 8=8 at least in my opinion.
