HiHi

This is a new one on me so I don't know if you folks want to put a hold on this turn for a bit.

Rushing to get my turn done before going to work I didn't really pay any attention to the Map till I noticed, going through 'Developments', that Grodno has changed it's status from Protectorate to Swedish owned, I then looked at the map and sure enough all my Polish protectorate provinces had gone over to Swedish owned.

I then noticed that Minsk & the other provinces I ceded to Russia last turn had reverted to pure Polish ownership, the 'Political' tab showed they had become Polish again through revolt (Bloody sencible people the Poles, ... who wants to be governed my some mad Queen!?? ) aaaanyhow that seems fair enough, tough titty for Russia etc but ...

However, what I'm wondering is if this should have backlashed so to speak and converted my proinces to outright Swedish ownership ??? ie is it WaD ? or do we have a mini Bug here?

Fraid I have to dive out to work in a bit so can't follow this up at the moment, anyone with some spare time can take it up on the Main MB if they wish.

Thoughts ?

All the Best
Peter

APPARENTLY, (something I didn't know), is that minors can MOVE their capitols. It has happened twice now to me.

I suspect there can be only 1 "Poland," thus the conversion.

If you also didn't notice, the ENTIRE Polish army just reverted to SWEDISH troops. The only Polish troops are now in "New Poland" (east Poland?)

What I want to know is, what happened to the Insurrections only happen when your NM is over -750?

I also had an interesting thing happen. In my surrender conditions to AU, he agreed to sell me Flanders and Lux, if I wouldn't hit him with anything on the victory conditions.
But it appears the computer added a clause that he has to pay me %52 of his annual income. When experimenting with victory claims I couldn't even come close to claiming that amount!
I'm going to subsidize him that money till it's paid back, unless anyone has a better solution!

I know the surrender condition are CORRECT. Any "surrender points" not used for other things are automatically converted to cash payments.

Oh, and WAD means "Working As Designed" (ie. NOT a bug). Sorry!

HiHi

I have put a post up on the Main Board apealing for clarification on the Russian Poland issue, if interested see "Devs, Beta testers and Experianced players" the whole thing seems a bit out to me but hopefully someone will stop by and confirm if it is all WaD.

All the Best
Peter

I heard from the Turk, and his 8th turn is in!
Peter, could you explain where to find that board "Devs, Beta testers and Experienced Players" board that you mentionede. I looked around the forums, and wasn't able to see it! I guess I'm not that savvy with the Matrix boards yet!
Thanks.

Hummm. Now that I read your post Peter it DOES sound like a bug. If the troops converted to totally SWEDISH troops, they should count against your mobilization limit.

Also, you said the troops still have the Polish flag? That would suggest they would disappear if the 'new' Poland was conquered. Not very fair to you.

If this DOES turn out to be a bug, what do we do? Go "back in time" a turn and have Sweden reject the offered treaty? That would stop any ceding of Polish provinces and the creation of "new Poland" and should return everything to normal.

HiHi

Maybe, if the other guys are OK with it, we could hold turn 8 for a short while till we get a responce from the Devs etc. Or, plough ahead regardless but take on board we "may/" need to redo the turn.

Thoughts folks?

All the Best
Peter

I would suggest that everyone does their turn per usual, but;

Lets wait till tomorrow before processing turn 8, and see if Peter gets a response on his question, in regards to this!
