Pro-ducti-vity!

This has been one of these days that after working hard all day, or so I thought, I don't think I actually got anything really done. So now I have twice as much to do on Tuesday

I had 4 of those days last week, Stu. Fortunately, this week is mostly a countdown to Christmas vacation.

I don't want to be anywhere near a place housing two grandma's and a post-partum depressive mother.

Wouldnt the babushka exuberance cancel the post-partum thing out?

No, but the vodka might.

Argh! Beat me to it. And you probably have actual experience in that.

Nope, but my wife is a neo-natal nurse and I have heard the gruesome stories.

That's Global Warming for you!

Here is what the weather is really doing, it is supposed to be early Summer and warm (average 25C). But as you can see in the Photo there is still snow on the mountains, and the weather is still squally. The temperature is also a lot cooler only averaging around 18-20, so if you ask me there maybe is something wrong with the weather.

What seems strange to me in that photo is that you don't see the green shoots of spring grass there... that looks like the yellowed grass of late summer/fall.

Hi all,

As I suspected my work ISP still has problems...

PING from my main ISP:

www.matrixgames.com = 64.111.28.20

PING from one of my other ISPs (remotely on my workstation at work):

www.matrixgames.com = 209.62.105.19

The only (quick) way I can do is to manually enter the true MatrixGames IP into my table...

Thus:

Go to

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

edit the

hosts

file and enter

64.111.28.20 matrixgames.com
64.111.28.20 www.matrixgames.com

Sorry for the stupid question Leo, but what will this do?

Yuri, it will change the DNS on your PC regardless of what DNS service you use does for that entry...

Here is a closeup of the ground in the same area, at the same time. you can clearly see the buds, shoots, and flowers growing. Incidentally the Trooper in this photo is my Son.

Good evening Yuri and Mike!

Hi Steve! How goes the planning for your relocation?

We haven't gotten all that serious yet. After the holidays I can go full bore. We've been sick , other things to do , etc. But it does sound more "official". While Lou doesn't have orders in hand yet , her "corps" has made the announcement of where everybody was going , and she's still up for Omaha. I need a road trip out there to really ramp up my planning! (Wow, a cross country drive in Mid-winter! Now that'll be fun!).

Are you planning on visiting us?

Steyr AUG? Is that standard issue for NZ infantry these days?
