Come to think of it, given Dixies occupation, also asking what Air rating the midwife has would be ... "good" ...

No father has sufficient political points to get away with replacing a midwife that the mother wants in the room. It's a matter of ordinal heirarchy-the husband's vote or efforts to influence the situation are meaningless: he's outranked!
