Just curious if this is a change with AE I didnt notice or if something else is going on.

It used to be that if you used xAK or AK for transporting aircraft between bases when they arrived they needed to be repaired due to being packaged for transport. And of course this made using AKV or CE's etc preferrable.

Twice now Ive ran major air transports TFs from SF to Pearl using xAK and the same day they arrive all the aircraft are listed as ready, no repairs/unpacking needed.

WAD? Problem?

Just re-read the part of the AE manual and it states that air groups transported will arive 'fully disabled', which I guess means this is another 'bug' introduced with a patch. I just re-did an air transport TF with 10 air groups and they all got off the ships 100% ready.

LOL, it gets worse.
I had 2 fighter groups just arrived by rail from the East US, all needing repair as usual after the rail transport. Just load them into an xAK and then unload them ... viola! all repaired to 100%. Im guessing not the intended effect ;)

I can confirm this too, I dropped off about 100 marine a/c at Brisbane, and they are all ready to go in one day.
