The party we went to last night was in a house built in 1918. That is old for a Florida house...

Hilarious bit.

btw, the game is broken. After the last hot fix, the AI has shot down some of my planes. I find that inconvenient.

And also, sometime my subs do not hit everything they aim at.

And I have noticed that if I do not pay attention, then I can easily screw up the Jap. economy. Why should I be penalized for not reading the manual, planning properly, or checking on my dispositions ?

If I were hard working, intelligent, skilled, motivated, and funded I could have done a better job.

Edited: IMHO, You should post that in the Main forums

Because very many people on the main forums do not seem to have either a sense of humor, or an understanding of sarcasm . Unlike the Threadsters

Agreed, Stu. This is a wonderful place, and my true home on the internet.

After you got kicked out of the Joan Jett fan club?

How did you know that Joan Jett is also from Baltimore?

Time to go outside with a shovel and use the experience to decide if I want to leave the house today for any pretense other than fire, the roof caving in or precipitation consisting of large amounts of US government currency.

After taking 2 hours to shovel this place into something resembling a place of human habitation, I have decided that I have nowhere else to go today. Mind you, this decision has absolutely nothing to do with any implication of me being completely wiped out, and anyone implying to the contrary will be promptly challenged to a duel.

Starting with....

I havs a cunning plan, my lord.

Of course, in this case, "My lord" would be my creator AndyMac

He built you in his secret lab out of spare vacuum cleaner parts?

"My" in this case, refers to the megalomaniac AI as I'm quite sure you understood

Of course. But it would never stop me from busting your chops about it. I know you would expect nothing less.

Does anyone know if there's still a thread around for AI behaviour?  Force Z just sank 14 unescorted transports near Borneo

I think your military needs a change very high in the command hierarchy.

Honestly, it was a random choice between her and Stevie Nicks. I guess I picked the right one.

American houses don't tend to last too long in general...

My point about early Florida houses was that there were not that many people in Florida in 1918.

If they dont curb the gator population, there wont be that many people there in 2018 either.

I'll be back there by then , doing my share to bring down the gator population. Gator is very tasty!

Reminds me about how GFU and I saw Goodfellas the other day (I think was the first time she saw it). She found it hilarious how Henry's wife asks for money and he asks how much and she holds her thumb and index fingers about 3" apart.

Several years ago it was around midnight, I came around the corner walking back to my office. A fox and I were about 6 feet from each other. I turned around and went the other way. I didn't want the rabies shots.

Well, thats wise, of course, but may I suggest you pay more attention to where the gators are.

Maybe it was the fox that Per keeps referring to.

About the same time one of my friends was walking back to office and cut through a swale. It was pitch black out. He decided to turn around and go the other way when the gator hissed at him.

On the topic of music, have any Threadsters (mostly of the European persuasion, I guess) heard of a Latvian (I think) band called Brainstorm? I heard one of their songs and liked it. If anyone knows the band, do they have any other good songs?

That'll teach him to barge in on an amorous moment.

Seems like the gators would be mutually exclusive to the pigs.
