Just wondering if there are likely to be anymore patches with any world changing events ( appreciated though they are )

I was planning to start a PBEM 2 day turns soon - just checking first

It's safer than it was before since the developers have been hard at work sanding rough edges, but it's too early to expect perfection.  Undoubtedly, new problems will come to light as players move more deeply into games (right now, very few people have gone beyond 1942 or early '43).  But I wouldn't hesitate to start a game at this point.

The only thing I think that could be an issue is that the game is skipping AM air phases occaisionaly, it seems to get worse the longer the game goes on so may not be an issue initialy. And it may just be an issue vs AI /shrug

To answer the original question: no, it's not safe. Nor will it ever be; the game is horribly broken and imbalanced in favour of both sides at the same time.

Not to mention the terribly addictive nature of the game...

I was not being critical of any rule but skipping an AM game turn ( if it happens - it never has for me ) is quite strange . Thats the kind of thing I mean..

Was it, in fact, skipped? Did the AI just not fly?

I'm pretty sure I saw that as well, but thought I just imagined it due to distraction. Both my stuff and the AI, if I had the save file I'd upload it but I don't so... I'll keep an eye out for it again.

Aye it skips it, goes right from AM Phase to Aircraft Landing with nothing happening. Got a post in the tech support forum about it, Mic tracked it down, not sure if he got a fix for it yet though. Ai thinks there are 0 groups available for missions or something.

Yes...should be OK unless you are prone to blood clots or hemorrhoids. I would recommend you stock up on canned chili and dried soup and get yourself a bunch of roll-on deodorant*.

* Aerosol stuff works too if you can find it.

** Spelled "stock" wrong...and added an "o" to "to"

If you are surrounded by ice-covered trees (or tundra) and have moose meat stewing on the stove you won't need it.

Men involved in ticklish relationships with females having nicknames like "Stalker Girl" usually require liberal doses of anti-perpsirant and deodorant.

Good, that is one expense I don't have to deal with.

Home sweet Home.
