Gents;

Select a Chinese or Australian division. Pay the points to assign your superior leader. Divide unit. Recombine unit and now your General is off to the polo grounds or whatever it is Generals do and he has been replaced by an often unremarkable Col/LTC.

Used to be the General Officers you bought, stayed bought.
