I am lame when it comes to using excel. Having said that I hope someone came maybe give me a clue to this issue.

I modified a scen to include an additional base. I included it in my location field line 572 and saved the scenario. Tested new base in the game and it shows as intended and appears to be functioning as I have placed a BF and several ships there. So far so good.

I now opened my witploadae via the com_prompt and dumped my scenario into the SCEN folder. Opened Excel found the location field of my new file and uploaded it. Looked for my added base and it's not there. Did it a couple of times and still doesn't show.

I have no idea what I did wrong or why this is happenning.

had the same when I tried to correct a database error of the Yamato class.
I dumped the scenario, modified it with excel and reloaded it but my modified
value did not appear.
Then I cleaned my RAM with a tool and started the editor again and voila -
modified value shows up.
Hope it helps.

Thanks for your reply, but, I was helped by Bradly in learning how to properly use withloadae. It was a spacing issue and I seem to be ok now.
