Having only been dabbling with UV since getting it a few days ago, I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the possibilities that confront me before ending a turn. Would anyone offer their own methods of handling an orders phase from the end of the previous turn till you're ready for the next? I'll bet most of you follow some sort of sequence each turn to ensure you've not missed anything. Is there a way to see a sort of "recap" of the orders you've issued (rather than checking each TF, Base, etc. individually) before ending a turn?

Thanks much,
Gus

It was easier in the old PacWar to run through the 4 different
menus like: TaskForces,Ports,Airfields and Ground Troops.
You could just cycle through in the above order to catch most
of the command structure. In UV, it is not divided up quite
that way. Since the theatre is rather small, I just start at PM
and cycle counterclockwise through all the TFs and the bases
to give orders. When I get back to PM, I am done. Someday
I hope to be doing this completely around the globe in WW2.

Thanks Jim... seems a logical way to do it by cycling thru TF's and bases ;)

Still lots to learn and I'm picking things up gradually as I play. At the rate I'm going though, it'll be a while before I'm able to solely concentrate on tactics rather than gameplay. I'll stick with it and hopefully be ready for some PBEM soon.
