Anyone interested in balloon bombs, Big Foot, or both, might enjoy this link: http://www.militarymuseum.org/Hayfork.html as a point of departure for wandering the web by search engine.

We have passed through Hayfork several times on the way to see a slice of the North Fork of the Trinity that reminds me of the Ozarks. The locals there don't mention the balloon bomb, but they'll bring up Big Foot at the drop of a hat.
