You can find a good description of these in:
Conway's All the World's Fighting Ships, 1922-1946, by Robert Gardiner. I think you can find an internet version at Google Books.

You will need lots of stuff; new art, new classes, new ships, lots of work. Sounds fun, though. Best wishes.

If all else fails, a scaled-down version of the art for the "Richelieu" class should work for the Dunkerque class.

I have some French art from various RHS projects. If you have problems filling in the data blanks, I live in a naval library of sources - just ask.

Hi Le Breton

did you edit the ships into the game, i'd be very intrested in the data you ended up with. I had planned ages ago to add more french ships into a what it indochina mod.

I have some great sources for stats on french vessels (Ian Allans book is very good)but never got around to converting the real data into values for the WITP game engine.

The maneuver rating seems to be a random number.

cheers
J

Nice work

any plans on doing a scenario to include them ?

have you decided to add in any french planes ? I'd love to see what you come up with for some of the more esoteric values like the maneuver ratings for altitude bands ?

cheers
J
