David Tennant has been Doctor Who for three Series - mind you he is Scottish not English .





Yes, but compared to other successful series, its still short though for "Who" his tenure is fairly long. There seems to be a English fear of typecasting not as prevalient in the States. The irritating part is that half of the actors who do short runs as the Doctor later come to regret the decision but of course it's too late by then. (Davidson was probably the best example)

I agree. I was really disappointed when Christopher Eccleston - a superb actor - quit after one series. Luckily Tennant was chosen next and was just as good if not better.



I really liked Eccleston, and actually stopped watching for a while. But after a bit Tennat really took over the part just fine. Sorry he is leaving.

Well they have just run the episode where Tennant leaves the show.....my eldest daughter was crying her eyes out at the end....I guess its fair to say she is sorry too!!

Likewise my 16 yo dau. I think she has a softspot for Mr Tennant.

We have swtiching back and forth between the games and Twilight Zone as well. All-in-all a very laid back, fun day.

I am not really looking forward to going back to work Tuesday, it is our unofficial start to Tax Busy Season. Lots of long days and weeks ahead.
