The Patriots got killed today but serves them right for being cheap this year. I want to see the Colts win the AFC.

Hi everyone.

1 - busy like hell at work. BigBoss waiting "his" summary 2009 with no patience, so
a good bunch of stress
2 - exam closer and closer (monday-tuesday next week). So even more stressed
3 - some troubles with the mental of Wife unit- so some stress

if ever someone know how to handle this stress by "legal" means ( ), i would be grateful !

(by the way, did you notice i only complain ? Must be some kind of national behavior )

I wonder why he thinks we don't know what fondue is....

Its the French background. I dont care how many generations its been or what he says about Canada......

(Sorry Steve, I just couldnt pass it up )

Not French , Norman ! You know, vikings! I have some self respect (sorry to any French friends out there....especially Gladditt!).

Now you know, by the time they were considered Normans their Viking ways were a distant memory.

Go ahead! Destroy my last chance at self-respect!

So its French, then?

Well, I suppose it could be worse. My mother was half Irish......(sigh).......

Worse than French ? Impossible.
We are the worst on earth .

(BTW, i have some Vikings ancestry too....long family history is: fleing Danish kingdom in 13th century, get in Nederlands, and then in France at beginning of 20th century...).
So Steve and i could be related cousin

Well, the Priors came to England with Big Billy back in the Big One of 1066 and decided Oxfordshire was a nice place to live to settled there. Some of them went on to help conquer Ireland and there's still a small enclave of Priors on the wets coast of said place.

My mother's family have lived in North Devon since the dinosaurs were kicked out for crapping on the lawns.

One rainy Sunday afternoon, a young couple were on their way to their Church to get married. On the way there, their car lost control and slammed into a telephone pole - killing them both instantly. The couple soon found themselves standing in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, welcoming them to Heaven. The young woman asks Peter if they could get married in Heaven, since their time on Earth was cut short. He replies that he'll get back with them on that request. A month later, St. Peter finds them and announces that they can - in fact - get married in Heaven. To his surprise, the woman asks "Just wondering, if things don't work out will we be able to get a divorce?" With a stern look in his eye, Peter blurts out "Look lady, it took me a month to find a preacher up here... you really think I'm gonna find a lawyer?"

I love it!

Think the Raven's D is for real? It certainly looked dominating against the Pats.

The Pats this year remind me of the Broncos a couple years ago. Shanahan (read: Belichick) was hailed as an offensive genius while the team did well. When age and poor draft picks caught up with the Broncos in their "cycle", the team inevitably declined, leading to mediocrity and eventual ousting of the offensive genius. I see the Pats being in the first year or so of this cycle.

While they've still got some talent on the offensive side of the ball, their defense is, with all due respect, terrible. Their middle linebackers and safeties couldn't find a running back breaking through their line let alone their a** with a seeing-eyed dog and a braile map yesterday.

What say you?

Good afternoon chaps.  It was an early, and slippery drive at 5 this morning   It damn well snowed again last night and the local streets were paved with ice.  Josh's op went well so I'm a happy chap again, but they're keeping him in overnight again because he's so young and he was under general anesthetic.  He wasn't a happy boy not being able to feed for the 4 hours before the op, I could hear him bawling before I got onto the ward
