OK, realistically we should check every xcreen every turn, but that is too much when pushingthe envelope in 10 turn days pbem, so I do not look at all the lists, and sometimes lose track of unit x showing up in base Y fo rthe future turns...
It would be very nice at a future date to be able to have a feature that states ships/planes troops recently deployed in the last X turns.. yep.. will have to see if the tracker does this,
thanks for a very special game.. and if I did not say this enough after bitching about moi in the old forum, THANK YOU or tweeking the moi rules of engagment

The Operationsreport and Combat_Events report pages already tell these things

freeboy... if the combat and ops reports are empty, then you are trying to read those of your opponent. Look again.

To get your ops and combat reports, you have to enter the correct password when you run the combat file.

The password shouldn't make any difference if you're not trying to read them "in game" - that is, if you're just opening up the operations report file or combat report file form the save directory under the game directory (reading them via notepad) you will not need the password. However, in a PBEM only the reports for the side you are playing will have any information. Those for your opponent's side will be empty.

Also I discovered: reading them in-game does not read the files named by date. Instead it just reads the vanilla name, for example it reads "aoperationsreport.txt". It does not read "aoperationsreport_411216.txt".

The reason that this matters is that if you open up a new scenario just to look at it, that action will make blank vanilla reports files. In other words, it will over-write "aoperations.txt" with a new, blank one.

I "assumed" that since the reports he was reading were empty, he was reading them in game.

and back to my ?
rather than go to all the extra effort of getting out of the game to track this stuff, which u suggest, It would be nice to have during my turn with the game open this info, I might as well use a spreadsheat! lol
