Can someone explain how to make tall buildings in the editor? I tried to reproduce some of the buildings in the Utah campaign, but cannot find a way to set the building height (you will find a tall building in St Mere Eglise). The editor seems to set most buildings to about 12 metres. Also in the beach scenario in Utah, there is a narrow map, but unlike most narrow maps, it is narrow but tall, not wide & short. How is this done?

Securitas, Rather then repeat some ideas, 1st try reading the following Forum Columns: Map-making questions (on the bottom of Page1), Building Elevation (page 3), and Map size (also on page3). Then if there are still some more specific questions Forum's eyes will be open ().

Well, I just tried everyway I know to make those buildings grow, Securitas, and had no luck. I guess I'll go read those previous posts too. Wild Bill ------------------ In Arduis Fidelis Wild Bill Wilder Coordinator, Scenario Design Matrix Games

You know, come to think of it, I actually designed those maps in 1.0 before they fixed the building height bug. That may be why we can't do it now. Those are a holdover from the old bug days...WB ------------------ In Arduis Fidelis Wild Bill Wilder Coordinator, Scenario Design Matrix Games

Ok, I looked for the information on the previous posts and could not find anything. Bill, thanks for the info regarding the previous versions, I assume that we no longer can set building height. Pity. I wonder if it can be made to work in a patch? For that matter, could it be possible to make more terrain elevations, like in SPWW2 version 3? Also Bill, how did you get the narrow beach map in the Utah campaign? The map editor lets you set height, but not width....
