i'm very new to Harpoon and reading through the manual I have found various errors and was wondering who to send them too, to look at revising the mistakes including the weblinks containted in the manual are also wrong.

i was also wonder what is the latest on 3.10 as I did find a link which takes me to some downloads but a couple don't work.

Welcome aboard, shipmate.

The link problems is just indicative of the standard slip-shod AGSI quality issues.  Try:

http://computerharpoon.net/public/H3Launcher_225.zip

http://computerharpoon.net/public/vcredist_x86.exe

Sorry about that!  You are absolutely right.  They did work for me last week (or the week before), but do not seem to work at this time.  My apologies.

That was a bad link/copy. Try:

http://computerharpoon.net/public/H3Cx_310RC3.zip

http://computerharpoon.net/public/H3Launcher_225.zip

http://computerharpoon.net/public/vcredist_x86.exe

Howdy,

I've updated the wiki page that holds the links. This should be the end of our pains from moving web servers.

http://wiki.computerharpoon.com/index.php/H3ANW:310#Downloads

Also at this link are details of what has changed and been added in 3.10.

Thanks!

How can I get the 3.10 download? None of the links above work.

Also, is there a better way to manage the updates for ANW? There are links all over the place--especially for beta files with expiration dates. The most recent updates in the Registered Downloads section of Matrix are out of date--these should at the very least be removed. The 3.10 links on AGSI don't work. There are links for various updates and patches in various places in the forum.

Isn't there one single place a person can go and download whatever patches/updates in whatever order that are needed to bring a game to the most current level? You can't do this on Matrix (at least as far as I know). You can't do this on AGSI. If there is such a site, it should be listed on a sticky in the forum.

I apologize for posting this if it is just me and an inability to find updates.

Bill

I think that the best place for this is the public ftp page on Matrix ftp://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/Harpoon3ANW/

You can see all the Official Patches there (no Beta/experimental releases) and decide which ones you need. It may not be perfect, but there are no expiration issues with the official releases.
