Well, this is getting into dangerously nerdy territory, but I'm not so far gone to scream about "canon" while foaming at the mouth, so I may be excused, I think. Consider the "universes" themselves. I'm probably the only ST fan on the face of the planet who thinks so little of TOS.

No, sir. You're not alone. I have not even seen all of the TOS series. I think the special effects so poor that it detracts from the storyline. The TOS movies were much better with a decent special effects budget.

Its not that. I'm willing to forgive whatever shortcoming in the effects. After all, it was only a TV series and one with a pretty small budget at that.

The last time I smoked indoors was in my college dorm. I had a white computer monitor with my ashtray was standing in very close proximity due to limited space. By the end of the semester, the entire side of the monitor was a rather striking yellow.
