Hi all. I believe we find more than one Dutch player on the boards so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting sometime, somewhere in Holland. Actually I'd find it great to meet any and all players from everywhere so anyone who'd like to join is welcome. Any chance of people being interested in visiting Amsterdam? I can do a tour . . . , a historical one!

I am studying in Den Haag, but I am from the US? Can I still play along?

Can only confirm this. My mum being Dutch I´m spending quite some time there and I really enjoy it everytime again. If you have a chance to go there, it´s highly recommended! The Dutch also know how to party.

Thanks all. I'm glad you spend a good time in the Low Countries!

@darbymcd: Of course you're welcome to join the party!

Still hoping/waiting for some other players to reply and willing to meet.

Wow, the low countries have a good reputation here ;)

Jaroen: I'm from holland but i don't do meetings anymore. Wife won't allow it as she thinks internet people are scare.

Apart from that, I tend not to visit 020 :P

Regards,

d0mbo.

PS. if there happen to be a bunch of people joining in, i am willing the rethink my stance on the above ;)

I've got to read the thread titles closer.  I read Meeting of Neanderthals and naturally wanted to go.

I'll send some PM's to the known Dutchies . . .

I was thinking it might be interesting to visit the Overloon War Museum during Easter Holidays.
See: http://www.oorlogsmuseum-overloon.nl/index.php?t=en
Not quite on topic, but it comes close.
Afterward we can visit Arnhem for dinner + drinks.

Or perhaps the Naval Museum at Den Helder, see:
http://www.defensie.nl/marine/cultureel/marinemuseum/english_information/
Definately more on topic but Den Helder is not quite that interesting.
