Hi,
I've tried to download the 7.1 version from the server, but it is corrupted, I've noticed other people have brought it up, but, haven't seen any specific answers yet.

Also, I have an old version 5.01, when I use it on my current machine the monitor freaks out when shifting from the intro screen, the movie, to the starting menu screen. It is one of these monitors that changes refresh rates as the software changes, its starts all the clicking as the monitor changes resolution, then seems like it is just about to load the software, then clicks back. works just fine on a very similar machine, but with a slightly different monitor.

Any suggestions on how to fix it.

safe mode maybe?

Welcome, try to set your monitor to 800x600x16bit before running SPWAW this what the game runs at and it shouldn't change it. As for the download keep trying especially the Sweden site, it seems to be the fastest and most reliable. Or if you already like SPWAW you can purchase a MegaCampaign for the Matrix store as they all come with full versions of SPWAW built in. Desert Fox is in limited supply so you'd better hurry if you want that one.
