Surely not. Hornblower's sense of humor was taking a naked bath from ship's pumps on deck with the entire foc'sle watching.

For Aubrey that seems to have been relaxation. And lets not bring the doctor into this.

BTW, sailing is the fine art of getting more 24 pounders to bear on pitch-laden wood than the other guy. So don't be knockin Hornblower there, froggy. He whupped your arsy more than once.

24 pounders are old (and small 32 are more like it!) school. Harpoon cruise missiles baby!

No, because my gmail account is decidedly bereft of Guad turns right now.

And which sailing vessel sported Harpoons? That's right. None. 24's were the mainstay of all wooden fleets. 32's only showed on the lower decks of 3 deckers.

Umm....you actually replied to my email where I sent it, saying you would update to the beta patch.

Now that I wrote that, let me make sure I attached the game file to that email.

Ok, forwarded the email again.  There's been a bit of shooting lately in both games.  They've been rather interesting.

He means a 24 pounder is small compared to a 32 pounder. Which is technically true, but irrelevant. 24's were the mainstay of SOL armament.

I'm quite sure that there were plenty of reasons for that including weight of guns and ammo, powder charges required, manpower needed to serve the guns and plenty of other things. But the questions that keeps me wondering, is what the heck does that have to do with the price of rice in China?

Hurricanes wrap up an impressive 5-1 win in Toronto, it's looking slightly white outside on the grass, and I'm hitting the rack.  Good night, Brothers.
