Depending how drunk the people around you are it might not matter.

A pollish friend of my father once told a joke:
if you can't understand a foreigner, drink one or two (or three or four) glasses vodka with him, and then no one will need any tanslation after this

You have to go to the Canary Islands now.

I'm hoping the Russian Black Sea beaches are headed that way.

I once had no fat cheese. It's plastic!

I once tried tofu outside of a bowl of miso soup.

Someone told me that tofu's strong point was that it would take on the flavor of other things. Then I told this person , a vegan that she was right, and that I had found the perfect flavor for it to take on.....BEEF!

The 1980's were an era where some of us liked the music and girls (please try NOT to throw up Kristian, I know your feelings on the subject). But the 1970's were the polyester uears , and the 1990's were the age of rap. The 1980's were to me a brief oaisis.

The 90s were certainly not all rap.

I used to hang out with a couple of Welsh college rugby players. After a night of drinking we knew it was time to go home when I started speaking welsh...better than the drunks!

I took a lot of crap on British beaches from my classmates when I refused to wear them. One asked if I was "cold". (I actually wore a pair of UDT shorts which are pretty brief). I politely informed him that if I wore his suit , I'd be arrested for "public indecenY" , as would most Americans. It got a bunch of red faces from the guys , and a lot of titters from the girls. Yes, it was a jingoistic moment. but it was fun, and besides the guy was a jerk.

Sounds like he had it coming.

The sad thing was I say this perpetual jerk five years latter in Portland Maine! "What the hell are you doing here!" I asked . "I live here now, I'm going to become an American" he replied! #$$%^^*#@! I replied. They didn't exactly send their best and brightest now did they!". Must have been revenge for the revoltion or something. There , you took our colonies , so we will send you Phillip! Take that! Since that incident , I've made it a point to apologize to most Brit's I meet. I'm afraid if I don't , that Phillip might have a brother!

I had originally planned to save up money to buy a new PC sometime in the next year, but you can't really beat instant gratification. Okay, semi-instant, because I don't get it until Wednesday.

Ah, that rare occasion when the UPS guy (or the local equivalent) becomes your best friend.

Actually, there's a computer shop in my apartment building, where I buy all my hardware. When you have to lug a 20lb computer home without a motorized vehicle, it helps if the walk takes all of 3 minutes.

I seriously hope not.Vegetarians I can deal with (I don't completely understand them , but I can deal with them). Vegans, or worse yet macro-vegans, well I feel they should be allowed to take their proper place in the food chain . What I mean by that is they should be fed to lions. As I good friend of mine used to say "I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to be a vegetarian"!.

I'm going to agree with Steve on this, it was not all rap. We had Oasis, Blur, The Verve, Pulp, Ocean Colour Scene, Stone Roses, James, Garbage, Men at Work. There was some good stuff towards the end as well, the Stereophonics and Travis.

And, er, Take That, Boyzone and the Spice Girls

I've got to admit to a bit of 80's nostalgia though. The Clash, Elvis Costello, Genesis. Dear Thread I'm uncool And the Kinks.

I just noticed something on my second play-through of DAO. In the first game, my male warrior had Morrigan the witch as his lover, while in this game, my female elf rogue has Lelianna the bard as her lover.

When my former character kissed Morrigan, she kept her eyes open. When my current character kisses Lelianna, she has her eyes closed.

Nice touch again, Bioware; good subtle display of the difference between the two NPCs.

I've not noticed that, although my char seems to have got Alistair interested in her so...

My first run through ended up with a romance with Morrigan, and some other stuff It all turned out OK in the end mind.

No, it's a course run by the RAF here at Brize. The RB-211 Q-course, happy times. It's worth some decent stuff out in civvy street though, with the equivalent civvy qualification I could almost emigrate to Canada with that alone And I've got 3 of them, although I'm not sure why I'd want to go to Canada.
