My opponent (Rader) and I have been hit by the sync bug. I (the allied player) made the mistake of installing patch 3 before the japanese player had done so. We now have been out of sync for 2 turns. Anyone have any suggestions for how to get back in sync? will the game "self-sync" eventually?

actually easy fix, but your not going to want to here it.. return t o the last time pre patched turn.. patch is installed, he runs turn.. you run turn and viola all set.. you just lost some turns is all!

I would have expected the sync to be OK once your opponent started running the turn on the same version you run the replay on. Not so?

One question: should my opponent and I be running at the same resolution? Or can we safely play the game (plot orders, run replay) at resolutions of our choosing, without fear of sync trouble?

I don't think different resolutions should cause any sync problems. You should be OK, Grotius.
